The Shanksville Stonycreek girls basketball team isn't having a strong season. The Vikings are 4-15 overall with four games remaining on the schedule.
Yet, Shanksville will be making some major news possibly as soon as Tuesday when the Vikings host Windber in a WestPAC game.
Senior Kayla Stockenus can become only the third girls player in The Tribune-Democrat coverage area to score 2,000 career points.
Stockenus, a senior guard, is averaging 30.2 points per game and needs 20 to reach 2,000.
